To commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the loss of Glorious, Ardent & Acasta, once again we held the association's main event in Plymouth. The social gatherings on the Friday and Saturday evenings were a chance to meet up and share a few drinks. The weekend culminated with the Service of Remembrance at the HM Naval Base in Devonport. Charged with laying wreaths for the three ships were: Vincent Marcroft (nephew of Norman Walsh, HMS Glorious, Sheila Welch (daughter of Henry Clarke, HMS Acasta) and Ian Fowlie (nephew of Frank Horn, HMS Ardent). In addition various private wreaths were also placed.
